Heronbox is an AI-assisted email client for iPhone. The service lets you connect your email accounts (Gmail, Outlook, IMAP), read and reply to email, and — once AI features are available — see summaries, smart cards, and suggested reply drafts.
Heronbox creates an anonymous account the first time you launch the app, keyed to your device. When you connect an email provider, that account is linked to the email address you authorize. You are responsible for keeping the devices that access your Heronbox account secure.
AI-generated summaries, smart cards, and reply drafts are suggestions. Review them before acting. We do not guarantee accuracy. For transactions (bank transfers, booking confirmations) always verify against the source email.
Heronbox is free to use with limits on AI features. Subscription tiers — including a Pro tier with higher AI allowances — will be announced when available. Subscriptions are billed via Apple's In-App Purchase system and are subject to Apple's terms. You can manage and cancel any subscription in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Connecting a Gmail, Outlook, or IMAP account is subject to that provider's terms. AI processing is subject to the data-processing terms of OpenAI and Anthropic. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes at third parties.
Heronbox is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the app will be free of bugs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heronbox will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be announced in the app.
